: About Me

I started expressing myself thru poetry when I was 14 and my mom told me I had to break up with my boyfriend.
I wrote a poem about how I felt and I woke the next morning to my mom's sobs as she read the poem.
My poems reflect feelings and actual events, I learned that I could sometimes listen to someone and then reflect their feelings as well.

Right now I'm almost too numb from my personal family
struggle to pull the writing out of myself..

Right now, those issues pretty much consume me

I believe in God and in his sovereign power, if I did not, I could not have held on thru these struggles

I am grateful for this outlet, I found on Helium. It is helping me to express myself again and know someone is actually reading it
