I started expressing myself thru poetry when I was 14 and my mom told me I had to break up with my boyfriend.
I wrote a poem about how I felt and I woke the next morning to my mom's sobs as she read the poem.
My poems reflect feelings and actual events, I learned that I could sometimes listen to someone and then reflect their feelings as well.
Right now I'm almost too numb from my personal family
struggle to pull the writing out of myself..
