I am Marilyn Chambers Dailey born to Jesse and Laura Jean Chambers. I am married to William H. Dailey who is a wonderful man I met from Evergreen, Alabama. He has been my supporter and my joy for the past 23 years. I have two step daughters, Kim Dailey and Tracy Randolph. I also have a grand daughter, Kamari who will be going to head start this year. I am the 4th of six children. My twin brother, Jesse L.Chambers, Jr.and I were born in Lucedale, Mississippi. We were later taken to Wiggins, Mississippi to live with my father and his mother after my parents divorced. Two three year olds living with the grandmother of 13 children did not sit well with the family after about six months. One of my aunts, Dr. Vera Mae Chambers, took us home to visit and to "play for a while," she said in Jacksons, MS. We ended up staying there until we graduated from Wingfield High School. We had our share of up's and down's but the good always prevailed. Since then I have attended such colleges as Alcorn State University, William Carey College, University of Southern Mississippi, Alabama State University. I was blessed to receive my Bachelor of Science, Master of Education, and Education Specialist degrees within the past 20 years of my life. I have taught High School special education for three years at Richton High School in Richton, MS. I have taught first grade at Frisco City Elementary in Frisco City, AL. I presently work at Thurgood Marshall Elementary in Evergreen, Al. I teach sixth grade and my principal in Mrs. Geneva Lyons. I have taught school for the past 21 years total. I chose writing as a way of giving back to others my experiences, hopes, and dreams as a form of encouragement to taking what you have and working with it. I hope to encourage the young and the old the saved and the unsaved. I want to let them know that "no matter what disturbances have come about in your life, the Lord will never leave you if you trust and obey Him." My life is a living testimony to his word. Ihave recently published, "Words to a Beautiful Sunset" (poetry) and "The World According to Buckey". You can find them on Amazon.com.

The ceremony is starting, said Mama, and it's a Medal of Honor not just honor, John. The soldiers marched in as they carried a banner that read, "Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines We are here to serve you." After they were seated, Sergeant Crawford got up and walked to the podium. A...
