A Singapore Chinese born in the 1980's.
Grew up in a traditional family that underwent several changes.
Passionate about scripts of languages.
Has my own language and its own script, named Aigul.
The language was created in year 2000 and has undergone various stages.
It was intially created with only 30 letters in the alphabet to code the Hanyupinyin, and now it is an isolate(not totally, and impossible to be) language of its own.

Memorizing Chinese characters takes a great deal of time. As a native Chinese speaker, I must admit, it is impossible to remember all of them. START WITH SIMPLE CHARACTERS My journey in memorizing Chinese characters started when I was about 4 years old. Then, there was this aunt who was my mother's friend, who taught me how to write a few Chinese characters. She started with those that have very few strokes, like the numbers 1 to 10.
