When I was little and asked what i wanted to do, I wasn't too sure, but knew writing and photography would feature in the mix!
And they have. I've worked as a portrait photographer (mainly children) and photographed music gigs, fashion shoots, weddings and graduations. At one point I had my own business but that didn't work out too well as I couldn't charge people!
I enjoy writing articles, poems, journals, anything really. I'm interested in writing for children as I admire their fresh unique view of the world. Helium is great as my work is rated and I can constantly aim to improve.
I studied Social Anthropology at university and this has given me a global perspective on issues and an understanding of people that goes deeper than the boxes and labels some use. I now work with children who have a diagnosis of autism, and will train as a primary teacher for special needs children.
