I'm a grandmother of nine gorgeous children and mother of three functional, intelligent, successful adults. And I write. Four of my poems have been published so far and my first novel is in rewrite. In addition, I've published various book reviews online. What a trip it's been!
I've been a bookkeeper, tin knocker, and teacher. I've traveled two continents and across this wide country of ours. I've lived in the desert of California, the tropics of Florida, and under way too much snow in Maine.
Presently, I'm in Arizona enjoying the warmth of the Valley of the Sun. I'm happy and contented. Finally.

In my closet, I have boxes of beads. I have true amethyst, shell, and wood beads. I have bundles of nylon cord, velvet bands, and silver links. I buy them for the pretty colors and shapes and, sometimes, I even work with them. I've spent the last three hours carefully beading bracelets for my card group friends. Nothing particularly original, they are simple stretch bracelets in blue and silver. I'm not an artist, but I love to craft. In my case, jewelry making is a hobby, a craft.
