I'm a published motoring writer for a monthly glossy in Ireland. I have had an unhealthy interest in all things car-related since childhood.
My job affords me an outlet for the vast store of information and observations I have made for decades.
I test drive at least 4 cars a month and hope to impart some of my knowledge to potential consumers in the new vehicle marketplace.
I hope you enjoy my reviews and please be patient with the spelling - some of the words aren't spelt (spelled) the American way! A lot of the vehicles are priced in British pounds and specifications may be for the European market.

My passion is ...
Anything automotive - I hope to share some of my knowledge with potential consumers within the new car marketplace. I'm also into my music and have an eclectic taste.
I know too much about ...
Cars
My parents always told me ...
Put that down it's covered in oil.
My childhood ambition ...
To become a racing driver or a pilot.
My favorite memory ...

Why I write ...
I'm paid to but it's also my passion.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
The late John Peel's unfinished autobiography "Margrave of the Marshes"/Watever's on the TV/The new Chemical Brothers Album "We are the Night"
My first job ...
A shop assistant in a horrible discount shop when I was sixteen.
My best moment ...
My wedding day and driving a Ferrari 360 coupe for the first time.
My inspiration ...
My Granda - he's a man that's really lived.
I'm a published journalist for a monthly glossy in Northern Ireland and have had the privilege (doubtful at times) of writing on a great many SUVs and Pickups. My personal favorite pickup was the Mitsubishi L200 tested in June 2007. In Brief This is a serious off-roader which can be officially classified as a commercial vehicle but can be used very comfortably on the road as an everyday car. Not strictly an SUV, but a boldly styled, hard-as-nails pick up truck with an enormous payload and five seats.
