I am an independent record producer in Nashville TN. Since 1991, I own and operate a recording studio and production company; Progress Music Nashville. I contract my services as musician and vocalist to a variety of outside producers as well, and have a one-man live show - featuring original and popular songs - for clubs, parties, ect.
As a writer, I have freelanced to a couple of local music publications, and I've had several commercial releases on songs I have written.
Writing has always been a passion. I keep journals often. I'm a deep thinker with an active imagination. I find I express myself better 'on paper' than in person - although I've been told on several accounts that I was a good communicator on the stage. Words have never been a problem for me.
I was brought up around musicians. My dad was a preacher and a Gospel recording artist. I always admired his command of the stage, even more his way with words. I like to think I got my ability with words from him.
I am a happily married 44 year YOUNG man, with a beautiful 4 year old daughter. I was a late bloomer, but I am so glad I waited.
I am well traveled, and have seen life from a variety of angles. I find I've learned my greatest lessons in my worst of times. Being able to share my experiences and perspectives give me great joy - which is what much of my writing consists of.

It was once said by a great statesman in the early part of the 20th century: "Religion is subject to cultural change. Any religion that loses it's significance in a society, will ultimately disappear in that society". Christianity stands at the crossroads of radical change. It has foregone many changes over the past 2000 years. But if it is to survive the future it must continue to re-invent itself, to fit the need of the people. We are at the beginning of a revolution. Modern-day American Christianity is the bastard-child of the true "church". We have a wide variety of doctrines and denom...
