Michael Raymond's "Phrench Phried Physics" was first published in "Graffito", formerly a satire magazine based out of Australia. Phrench Phries also developed somewhat of a minor following worldwide, as referenced by the number of webpages that still have a link to a web address ten years out of date. Yahoo and Google both have a remnant of those pages, even today. Efforts to have the links updated have proved futile; the people responsible for updating them have moved on.
A high school senior in Kentucky received an "A" on his creative writing essay in 2003 - a full blown, word for word copy of "Phrench Phried Physics". Some pieces never die, it seems.
Graffito also published pieces titled "World Peace", "Send In The Clones", and "Millennium Bug". Each of these were contemporary satire pieces dealing with topics such as cloning, the Y2K scare and the role of the UN in this modern world.
Michael also has a short fantasy piece "The Wizard's Apprentice" that was purchased and published by Fantasy, Fiction & Fairy Tales in 1995 and a full length fantasy novel. He says he is trying to get "Tymescroll" published, but appears to enjoy editing it too much to do so.
Michael lives in Phoenix with his wife and their four kids. About his writing, he says "I have met a number of interesting characters. Somehow or another, some of them always manage to end up as people in my writing."

Classroom strategies for autistic children
Joshua is seven. Like most first graders, he goes to school every morning. Unlike most first graders, Joshua has been diagnosed with high-functioning autism. He has a demonstrable lack of social and communicative skills that have, at times, proven to create difficult days for his teachers, his parents, and himself. On any given day, there are forces from at least three varying dynamics in play, any one of which could serve as the catalyst for disrupting the day.
The first dynamic is the school and the rules imposed by that construct: the need for...
