: About Me

My name is Lin G Hill and I was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. I have spent most of my growing up and working years in a small town just on the outskirts of Ottawa, called Carleton Place.

I spent many years working in the electronics field as an assembler and technician and found work in the west end of Ottawa in the Kanata Industrial area where all the great, technical-electronics companies made their start.

I also spent several years in the fashion-garment industry that was located directly in the town of Carleton Place.

After my husband passed I retired early because of a disability and moved to the town of Smiths Falls for a few years.

Later on after meeting my new husband, I was convinced to move to Windsor where I now reside and enjoy all the great scenery, entertainment and the arts that this lovely city provides.

Do cats understand us? Well I definitely think so and so does my husband. I have this wonderful cat called "Mittzs" and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me since cats were invented. Do I think that cats are all alike? Definitely not! I soon learned that after I adopted this cat! Before Mittzs came to live with us I was a dog person myself. It just happened that I rescued him from being sent to the animal shelter, along with the rest of his brothers and sisters,because I could not stand to listen to my grand daughters crying because her daddy would not let her keep them all.
