I have a wife and two kids, a boy and a girl.

I was originally trained as a chemist. This colors my view of reality somewhat.

I go outside at midnight, and stand there deep in thought. I think of men that used to be, and the riches that they sought. I think of ancient empires that rose and spread and fell, and their gods and priests and heroes, in the stories that we tell. I ponder the great secrets, of time and light and space, and whether this big universe deserves the human race. I look at stars above my head, and think of what may be. But most nights I just wish my dog would hurry up and pee.
