About me

I dream of having my own little plot of earth I could call "Home", my very own yard where I could plant a whole field of Daffodils... or blue Bachelor's Buttons all along the road. And there would be herbs that tickle your ankles as you walk up the little path to the front door, releasing their spicy smells at the touch of each visitor. There could be an apple tree for the birds and applesauce and pies, and some grapevines for puckering the lips of too anxious children. I should think I would plant perennials, and have window boxes overflowing with Geraniums. A little fountain would provide back-up music for the birds and refreshment on the hot days of August. And the vegetables would be gifts to neighbors and friends if the little animals didn't grab them too quickly for a snack.

Yes, a great deal of work would be needed to create this....work, and a lot of cold glasses of lemonade. But it IS possible. I am doing my best to fund this dream in every creative way I can think of.

So that is the long version of why I am here. Having grown up in the country with no Television, you learn quite a number of interesting things. Now living in the city, I can see things from a unique perspective (whether I want to or not!). Hopefully, you will enjoy reading some of it as I share in these online pages.

I would love to have you visit my newest adventure: www.creativemoneymakers.com ....let me know what you think of it!

For multiple reasons, my affluent, (and very cool) parents decided we would not have a television in our home. (Now I will admit, Dad did keep one up in the attic in case there was a national emergency and we needed to see what was happening, but it was not plugged in or attached to an antennae.) My parents were both raised in homes with Television sets, but when they had the 4 of us children, they began to reev...
