My name is Shaun McGonigal. I grew up in Philadelphia, where I attended a small private Quaker school for 13 years. I went on to earn my MA in Philosophy and continue to live in Philadelphia.

I am interested in philosophy, religion, and am active in various atheist communities. I write a blog (ShaunPhilly.wordpress.com) as well as articles, essays, etc for various local publications as well as personal projects.

I'm interested in writing about culture, religion, and atheism. I have spent many years involved with writing about these sujects, and consider myselfhighly experienced in counter-apologetics.

What is polyamory? What would it mean to become polyamorous? Polyamory is much more prevalent than you may think. Earlier in its history, polyamory was often called non-monogamy.
