I am a technical administrator, photographer and webmaster by trade. My formal education is in Computer Science (FVU) and Graphic Design (McKay Tech). I have a passion for art, music, photography and creative writing and I dabble in the sciences.
My writing experience covers copy for web, a manual for Agri-tourism and various technical and creative projects. I enjoy the challenge of writing technical articles and copy for the general public, toning down the language so to be understood by people who don't necessarily understand the terms and technology.
My broad life experience covers twenty some odd years as a single Mother, a University student, a cancer survivor, living on the economic edge, environmental activist/supporter and photographer. I like to think this enriches my writing, giving me an in-site to many issues and topics.
My childhood ambition ...
was to be an astronaut
My best moment ...
was the first time my daughter smiled at me
