The Scoop:

My name is Jeff and I'm an author and fund raiser. I have two novels available now (Kansaska & Trolley Dodgers).

Trolley Dodgers follows the town of Bloomington, IN. as they try to buy the Los Angeles Dodgers and move them to the Midwest.

Kansaksa is a humorous romantic comedy set in rural Kansas during the 1948 K.R.A.P. League season. The town of Portis is trying to overcome 19 years of baseball futility.

I'm currently finishing Seven Dead Flamingos. The NCAA allowed me to go behind the scenes of the 2006 College World Series. Look for it in stores in October.

Think of the DH as the stunt double for pitchers. Nobody wants to see Angelina Jolie get mangled by crocodiles on the set of Tomb Raider 3. So, the director yells "cut" and trots out a dude in the wig to take care of business.
