I was born in 1953, and received a silver spoon from the government for being born the day before the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth 2nd. So I am the proverbial person who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.
Writing poetry and short stories from an early age, I have been published in the International Library of poetry, gained an Editors Choice award and spent time as a journalist on a community newspaper, "The Inner Nottingham Gazette".
Having had many articles published about local events, cultural diversities, politics and stories about people from all aspects of life, I am launching my first novel after being encouraged to do so from people familiar my work.
I am widowed and am the mother of six children (now grown up), and am the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren.

my first job was picking potatoes on a farm when I was thirteen

My best moment was when I got to be with my now partner, who I had secretly fancied for three years before he asked me out. We have been together for four years now, he supports everything I do and I love him to bits.

My inspiration is my partner because he believes in me. In the begining it used to be John Lennon's words (not the Beatles) his solo stuff
The phenomenal discovery of a planet similar to Earth, by NASA on Monday 5th December, is truly a leap for our expectation on finding other life in the universe. However, it is currently placed outside our solar system and therefore only viewable through a telescope, and is so far away, the likelihood of investigating would be impossible, as it would take 22 million years to get there.
