My mother always used to say that I was the dumbest smart person she knew and I always laughed innocently, not really realizing that being the dumbest smart person in the world was not the best thing to be, lol. I have always been more "book smart" than "street smart". I can tell you anything you want to know if I read it in a book, or saw it on a educational show, but dealing with situations in the real world, when I had to think on my feet, and adapt quickly always seemed to have a learning curve that was too steep for me.
