After a lengthy career as an elementary school teacher, I am striving to develop a long-latent inclination to write. I have had articles published in The Globe and Mail,(Toronto), The Buffalo News, and The St. Catharines Standard. I am a regular contributer to the Ethics 101 column in The Globe.
Reflecting on my experiences as a Canadian girl, wife, mother, divorcee, second wife, stepmother and grandmother over a lifetime spanning two centuries provides me with lots of material for multiple articles and passionate opinions. The rapid advances in technology in the 21st. century never cease to amaze, and expressing these sentiments in written form often seems to strike a chord of recognition in readers.
I live with my husband and two Labrador Retrievers in Southern Ontario, Canada. Our family has the same celebrations, griefs, special occasions and arguments as others. These provide further fodder for my literary efforts.

Two months is a long time for children to remember the intricacies of the various academic skills. This is especially true when summer days are filled with fun, excitement, travel, friends and new experiences which keep them busy from morning until night.
