I am a Profesional Stagehand,and have worked on thousands of shows and productions with some of the bigest stars in the world.Until last January for the last 5 years i was the Scene Shop Supervisor and Advanced Stage Carpentry Teacher at Purchase College SUNY.I acheived this position through personal experience,with a High School Equiv. Diploma and many years experience though it usualy requires at least a Bach.Degree in Fine Arts and 5 years experience.
Iworked in the Publishing Industry as a Systems Engineer developing business systems and business forms for Jensen Publishing and Forms East servicing many Fortune 500 Companies as well as the trade.
I am now freelancing in the technical theatre and entertainment industry and was Business Manager for IATSE Local 499 Poughkeepsie NY (the Stage hands Union) for over 10 years.I live in Upstate NY in the Catskill Mountains,am a guitar player,motorcycle rider,avid reader,and nature lover.I am also a proud Grandfather of a 4 year old grand daughter.

As someone who has worked in a number of professions that have become obsolete or moved "offshore".I have personal experience in "Second Chances" (as well as 3rd and 4th chances}. There is always a period of shock,depression and self doubt after a change in ones life,whether it involves a job or a personal relationship,or ones health.The loss of any combination of these at the same time can equal much more confusion than any single negative event by itself.
