I am always mom first, to my kids and everyone elses. I like to spend time with young people, because their ideas are fresh and funny. Kids make up their own mind without the outside influences of the world. They have the greatest philosophy, untainted by experiences.

I'm into spirituality and what people believe in. I think there is no knowledge that is bad knowledge. Knowing things that are less than good only makes a person better prepared for whatever life brings. My purpose in life is to impart knowledge on those who never knew they needed it.

I was extremely ill. There was an epidemic of Asian flu that year, and this particular strain had already taken the lives of 15 people. My mom was supposed to be picking up my 2 boys for a trip to Disneyland, and I thought, "Thank God the kids will be gone. She called me less than an hour before the expected arrival time to tell me she was too sick to go and wanted to know if I wanted to take them. The trip was already paid for.
