Born and grew up in Hawaii, mostly on a surfboard.
4.5 years in WWII (So.Pacific. Atlantic and Mediterranean) from Apprentice Seaman (which is the lowest form of U S Navy pond life) to Gunnery Officer
aboard USS MENGES, DE320. Wounded in battle, and featured in famous TV program "WAR STORIES WITH OLIVER NORTH".
Back to college 1946 with a "full scholarship" (sometimes known as THE GI BILL) to Yale (graduated 1948). Lived in Pittsburgh, formed and operated own industrial machinery and equipment sales company, and designed and built specialized hydraulic equipment for steel mills (such as 250-ton-capacity hydraulic shear). Moved to CA and became R E Broker in Agricultural properties, while also designing and building custom homes.
"Retired" and became inventor and author. Listed in "WHO'SWHO IN AMERICA".

I write because (1) I have Parkinson's Disease and have quit driving, my wife works and my life now is my PC.
