I was born a country girl in the midwest, but always longed for the big city. While I need to touch "home" at least once a year, I thrive best in the metropolitan area where everything I could wish to do is available without having to drive for 90 minutes.
I live in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC, work fulltime and finally get to travel with my work. I could retire in a few years, but will probably work as long as my mind stays with me! I like to read, eat out with friends, travel, and take day trips with absolutely no destination in mind.
