After 16 1/2 years of college, I completed my bachelors degree in journalism. Trust me, it's easier to make money on Helium than it is as a working journalist. The reason it took me 16 years to graduate? I was paying my way as a working journalist.
I have stopped writing professionally on a permanent basis and operate a couple of coffee shops/bookstores/pet boutique stores with my wife. We have three furry children and live in Southside Virginia. Look for a cynical undernote to everything I write with a tongue-in-cheek perspective. In other words, I take everything personally and nothing seriously.
