: About Me

My name is Elizabeth U'Prichard, though I often go under the pen name of "FireDitto" while on the internet. I am a nineteen year old female, who has much hope for the future, and the desire to see it come through.

Currently, I'm working on two novels of very different themes, and have very high hopes for them - one in particular. They are written for an age group of young adults up, who enjoy a good fantasy novel, or in the case of Mahsuri (title pending) a dark-future-Earth type novel.

Fantasy is my main forte, and I enjoy reading plot twisting books where the characters come alive, not just with dialog, but with description and personality. I can't stand reading works where the characters are not alive; not their own being.

At current, I work in a Coffee Lounge close by my home in the suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I enjoy the job, and my colleagues. When I'm not working (And sometimes when I am) I day dream a lot, and in my spare time do a lot of writing on scrap papers, or my laptop if I can access her. My laptop is called Lunar for future references.

I enjoy spending time talking to my friends on MSN, as I don't get to see them very often, they living in Victoria. I'm not really one for talking on the phone, but it is nice to hear their voices sometimes.

I grew up on 3,000 acres and know a lot about horses, dogs, cat, cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens and other random "farm" animals, though, of course, there is always room to learn. All facts regarding animals in any of my pieces are true, and what I don't know I research. I try to make everything I write as believable as possible and true to life, even if it is fantasy based.

I own a horse, Tiki, of whom pictures can be seen at my deviantART account, if you take the time to click on the link. My character, Missile, is based off her.
I also own a toy poodle, Ratbag, who is a breeding dog. Sitarii's poodle pup, Savvy is based around him.

My education is fairly basic in regards to my writing, with Year 12 graduated in 2006, I took courses in English, Maths, Biology, Psychology, Business Management, Accounting, and Information Technology. I've recently been looking into doing online courses for Editing and Creative Writing, once I'm more settled into my current living and job arrangements.

Watch me shatter, Watch me break. Lost and cold, Alone and forgotten. Your warm touch, A soft voice in the night. Something missing, Hidden by the dark. A silent tear, shaking shoulders, Confusion paints the world in grey. Stumble and fall, uncaught, Abandoned to find the lost light. A word once said, Lost to echo dully.
