I hold an MBA and an MA in economics and I have a lifelong interest in stock market investments.

It began when I had to decide what to do with my paper route money that I earned when I was 13. The banks were offering less than 2% interest but bank stocks were paying a 6% dividend. My mom opened a stock brokerage account in trust for me and I put my money to work in a diversified portfolio.
