Worked for the Airlines then moved to Southern California in the 70's. Met her husband Jose Luis on a cruise ship in 1980 (They have been married 29 years). They have lived in Florida, New England and currently in in Las Vegas).
Jose Luis is from Argentina, moved to the States in 1974 and has been working in Hospitality since. He lived briefly in Marbella, Spain. He has worked for major resorts, restaurants, cruise line. He speaks 3 languages
We are definite foodies and lean towards ethnic cuisines and have owned restaurants for the past 19 years, where Jose Luis is the chef and Catherine Pastry Chef -currently we own ELEMENTS KITCHEN & MARTINI BAR, a smart contemporary restaurant with over 252 Martinis. For your basic bar give yourself a $150 budget (not including any fancy gadgets) & you should be all set. See the Mid Liquors (better than low end, but won't cost a king's ransom). Want to impress then 3 bills will really do it (see the Higher end liquors). There are rums, gins, vodkas for $6-$600,everybody's tastes & preferences are different (thank goodness), this is just a drop in the bucket of liquid libations.
