About me - Beverly Owens

About me

I have been an Antiques and Collectibles dealer since 1997 and have enjoyed providing a new home for wonderful little treasures to customers both on-line and in a brick and mortar shop. Currently, I manage an Antique Mall in Indiana with 84 spaces and 64 dealers under our roof. I love assisting both the customers and the dealers with their daily needs. It is a joy to help customers find that special treasure or to educate them about a collectible that they have an interest in. My dealers come to me for assistance in pricing or identifying items and displaying their merchandise in their space. It is an interesting and rewarding job for me.

In the past year I had the pleasure of writing a few articles for Krause Publications as a free-lancer about my favorite topic...Antiques.

It is more important to me to take care of our own first. What bothers me more than the other countries and their problems is the poverty in our own country. Children right here in the United States go to bed hungry every night. Many of these children do not have a safe place to lay their little heads down to sleep at night. That is deplorable in a nation such as ours! It is despicable that our elderly have to make a choice whether to ea...
