My Name is Margaret Clare Sanders.
I am a retired registered nurse living in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. I was born in Prestatyn, Wales, UK and grew up in Liverpool, UK. I trained as a nurse at Putney Hospital, London, UK, where I met and married my sweetheart Keith and we have been married for 42 years this coming September. I have two adult children, Anita and Colin and one adorable 3 year old granddaughter, Joycelyn.
I love writing verse and read constantly.

Retirement Cold days, with snow sparkles on the ground. Soft as a bird's white feathers. Oak trees, leafless, barren and at rest. Dreaming of Springtime after Winter's rest. Retirement was a necessary thing. So why do no birds sing? There was a time it seems, that February brought me many dreams of what I'd do when Summer warmed my skin, and heat would elevate the joy within. But now each month is nothing more than what can be an everyday chore.
