Well, let's see, I'm a single mom of 2 beautiful little girls, engaged to be married to a wonderful man. I have always loved to write. Grammar and Composition were my favorite subjects in school because I was good at it. I have also written alot of songs and poetry. When I saw Helium I was interested because now I can get paid for the articles I write, so I'm excited. I hope you enjoy the things I write.
My passion is ...
Cooking, writing, and playing with my daughters.
I know too much about ...
Oh, I don't know. Writing, perhaps? Poetry? I know alot about cooking, too.
My parents always told me ...
Never give up, no matter how hard life can get.
My childhood ambition ...
Writing or being a photographer.
My favorite memory ...
The days my children were born.
Why I write ...
To express my thoughts and feelings. It's not easy for me to verbally express them, so I write them down in journals, articles, and poetry.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I'm reading text messages from my fiance. I can't hear unless I have my hearing aids on so I'm not listening to anything at the moment.
My first job ...
Grocery store that I hated because there was too much going on "behind the scenes" that customers didn't know about and I felt it wasn't right.
My best moment ...
Being inducted into the International Society of Poets Hall of Fame for poems I wrote.
My inspiration ...

I already had a toddler who was hadn't yet mastered the art of walking, but I was blessed with a healthy child nonetheless. However, I was also concerned. Hearing loss runs in both mine and their father's families, and I feared one of my children would be affected. So far, my toddler's hearing was normal, praise the Lord! However, in my 5th month of pregnancy, the doctor noticed something wrong with my baby during my ultrasound. But he thought it was nothing to worry about, s...
