C-section. It is simply a technological advance that is either overdone by Doctors, used in cases of emergency (saving lives) or planned ahead by women who prefer major surgery to a natural birth. I had two. One for my first child. My labor was stopped with muscle relaxers, later induced and when things turned ugly and my son was stressed, an emergency c-section followed.
