I have a bachelor of Public Administration degree from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, CA. Much of my working life has been spent working to improve the lives of folks struggling to overcome economics and social barriers. As a member of the management staff at Social Security Administration and the Federal Child Support Enforcement Program, I worked to help families unite/reunite to become self sufficient. Presently, I volunteer todistribute food to the homeless and I mentor families and children in areas replete with deprivation and abuse.
I have a lot of opinions, but I suppose high on the list is my belief that everyone should strive to get a good education (whatever that entails), not simply to find a job, but to prepare to face life's challenges and to be self-sufficient. Among its many positive assets, an education should help people develop discipline and should teach them how to think logically and strategically to face whatever life tosses at them.
There are a thousand wonderful things I could say about Helium, but high on the list is the fact it provides me a medium to showcase my work and to be a part of an awesome group of talented writers.
If you are looking over my literary offerings, I hope you find something that interest you. I wish you and your love ones God's abiding peace, His sustained joy and His blessing.
