I am on a voyage or discovery through the uncharted territory of the mind.
The journey begins with a blank page and ends with knowledge. But all of this is just temporary. The world moves on and we have to run to catch up.
I live in Andover in Hampshire , the original version in England. A beautiful part of the country. Green with trout filled rivers and rolling chalk-made hills.
Close by are the towns of Winchester with its cathedral begun in the 11th century and a cluster of shops and pubs which lay like hidden gems waiting to be discovered just off the high street. Not far across the Hampshire, Wiltshire border is another cathedral city, Salisbury. There is history and heritage in the very bones of the earth. The ancient stone circle of Stonehenge lies to the north. Also within a few miles the more mysterious Avebury, part of the sacred landscape.
I will explore and write about these places so close to London and yet a world away. There is much to travel for - festivals , events, history , the countryside and the shore. Let me be your guide.
