I have been a nurse for many years, since I was a teenager. I both love and hate my profession. Love the nursing, hate the paperwork. I have had a love of books for as long as I can remember, I think I was born reading. I love to write poetry. I wake up with the words in my head and I keep a notebook at my bedside so I can write it down, then I go back to sleep. If I don't write it down, I cant go back to sleep. I have stories inside that sometimes seem to want to burst out. (Think of the scene in Alien). So I write. It is not easy, it is sometimes uncomfortable, but it is always rewarding. I have just now began sharing my thoughts and dreams. This is a very scary thing.
