I'm in my late 40s, single, never married. I bought and live in the same farmhouse where I was born. I've lived here all my life.
Ever since high school I've repaired all sorts of mechanical and electronic devices. In 1984 I bought a small appliance and electronic repair business. It has been my main source of income ever since.
In my spare time I do a little writing (many subjects) and a little inventing (mostly of mechanical devices).
I truly believe in using one's talents to help and uplift all those with whom we come in contact.
My passion is ...
how things work.
I know too much about ...
nothing. Hardly any of everything. And very little about anything. Compared to all knowledge how can any one person know very much?
My parents always told me ...
Are your wondering if you're on life's correct path? Look ahead. Is it uphill? Is it difficult terrain? Is the path hard to stay on? Can you barely make it some days? Then yep, you're on the right path.
My childhood ambition ...
To repair broken things to see how they work and invent new things.
My favorite memory ...
When I fell in love the first time.
Why I write ...
To pass on ideas (hopefully good ones) to the minds of others.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Reading: mostly technical information to stay informed for my job. Watching: documentries, comedy shows from the fifties to now. Listening to: music from the sixties and seventies.
My first job ...
Trapping gophers for farmers and the county.
My best moment ...
When I sold one of my inventions to a large company.
My inspiration ...
My dreams. I dream very vividly in color. It really fuels my imagination.
