: About Me

I was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi and have lived in Hurley, Mississippi for most of my life. It's a small town that is growing fast, especially in the past few years. Ever since first grade I have been writting stories. My first was about a man who shrank and is trying to find out how to become his normal size again. It wasn't very well written, but it was actually alright for someone my age. Since then I have written many short stories, poems, and am currently working on what I hope will one day become my first novel. The only type of writing and reading that I enjoy is fiction. However, I am trying to broaden my horizons as far as reading goes. Even though I am only fifteen, I have read at least a thousand books. Currently, my favorite authors include: John Grishim, Nora Roberts, and Daniel Steel. They write wonderful fiction works. I am an aspiring young writer who wishes she could become at least half the writer Mr. Grishim is and dreams of the day when she might have her own books upon a book store shelf. Maybe that day will come, but for now, I have taken one step closer to that dream.

Take a breath. Take a step. Take a chance. They say it all. Do we give, More than we take, Just like we should? Of course we don't! Humanity drains, Controls, Wants, And desires! Yet in the midsts of it all, Stands what we once were. Loving, Kind, Understanding, And compassionate! Some still are. But others still, Lie, Cheat, Steal, And break. They know it's wrong, But do they care? Who knows? Only them.
