About me

I'm just your average girl. I have a few grandiose goals, but otherwise, fairly average. I enjoy computers and programming, singing, writing, reading fiction and romance, playing piano and guitar, and spending time with loved ones. I plan to have my own business one day. Hopefully either a book store or computer repair/programming business. All the while, I am working towards becoming a professional musician. Of course, I must write the next big novel. Don't we all :) Anyway, enjoy my articles and pay a visit to my blogs.

We've all heard about people with natural born talent. What does that mean for the other ninety percent or so of the population? Everyone has talent if they choose to build upon it. Even the so called naturals had to work and practice to fine tune their abilities. Sometimes when practicing piano, I feel discouraged because I see artists on television shows talking about being able to play the moment they first sat at a piano. No one happens to mention the years of lessons the artist had to learn different styles and techniques. I could be a professional if I had taken lessons for ten years ...
