Onions Since I can't cook, I add Onions to everything. The stove hisses on In a crown of flame As I slice with a dull knife. The pan sizzles, Dries out, blackens, Onions charred to dead worms. I add a defib, olive oil, A stop gap, a last ditch. No good, meal extinct. I might starve But for phones and cars And pizza. Evolution, you know.
