: About Me

Hello.
My name is Charles, I'm 58 years old and live in Northampton, England. My interests are varied; including writing -(naturally), reading, cycling, photography, visiting and photographing the contents of English Parish churches, social history and playing music.
I have played drums in many local bands over the years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

I have had many jobs throughout my lifetime - bus conductor, milkman, dockyard worker, taxi-driver, delivery driver etc. Looking back on those years I used to believe that they were mostly wasted years. However, nothing is really wasted, it all provides experience for writing.

I have written a number of illustrated articles, on various subjects, that have been published in magazines here in England. I am also in the process of writing a book based on my childhood memories, which I hope one day will find a publisher.
