Growing up in a small town my view of the world existed in all the wonderful books on our shelves and creating dreams in my mind and visions of discovering the wonders of the world. Leaving the small town environment gave fruit to my degree in life (Roads Scholar) not a formal education but certainly education in association with people, places, different life styles, perceptions and choices.
The world's society was my teacher and at times my enemy, but no matter what happened from these experiences of joys and obstacles one learns to sink or swim.
Attitude and laughter helped me survive all the my challenges and the mental vision of butterflies in flight and birds nestled in the trees is a constant reminder that all the monies in the world cannot provide you happiness.
My happiness exists this day in sharing life with my soul mate and husband living a simple life filled with peace and caring for our Mother Earth.
Writing has always been my desire so I could express and share the stories of myself and others in the joys, sadness , and survival of life. So here I am at Helium to fulfill my desires, learn from others and share.

What's important today is being true to yourself not a copy of someone else be real not a fake be kind to all beings no matter how they appear for it is inside that really counts give someone a smile give someone a hug what's important today are things with no price just a small gesture could make the difference in someone's life
