A teacher by profession, a member of many committees in school, church and external organisations, a lover of sports, aesthetics, humanities, and creativity - that's Mun in a 4-decade long nutshell.

Mun is presently pursuing a certification in writing through a long-distance writing course, teaching part time, homeschooling her son and going on service learning trips to Cambodia during the long school vacations.

Having discovered that she is a Special Needs lady with a Special Needs son a few years back when she joined Helium.com, Mun has put her love for learning into great use - helping other Special Needs kids discover their special gifts. She ploughs all the learning back into honing the Special Needs Channel at Helium.com into a resource for the like-minded.

She credits her Helium successes to her many mentors at Helium.com, friends who offer valuable advice on her writing, and to God who has led her through plentiful adventures in life.

My passion is ...

traveling, writing, photography - anything that is new to me

I know too much about ...

myself to take others' opinions about me without a second blink and know when I don't know too much about myself and hence to learn more about myself

My parents always told me ...

I would be a great musician. That has come true... in my personal worship

My childhood ambition ...

none at nine - my teacher told me to go sell eggs at the wet market.

My favorite memory ...

of my parents asking me what I wanted. I said a piano. Dad never kept to his promise. Mum did - not a piano, but a violin though we could ill afford it.

Why I write ...

to express my thoughts, as my legacy, to release the inner strengths

books and articles on writing, teaching, anything new to me

My first job ...

typing addresses of clients on envelopes on my eldest sister's manual typewriter.... I was paid $17 plus for completing hundreds of them.

My best moment ...

singing my favourite hymn at a choir audition to the piano playing of my choir conductor

My inspiration ...

God who has my name written on his palm, and my life written in the heavenly books

Germany's Christmas markets attract visitors worldwide to over 2000 markets dotting every city, town and county.
