I thoroughly enjoy learning. That doesn't mean I like to go to school and sit behind a desk everyday. I find my knowledge everywhere. Currently I am working towards my Bachelors of Communications degree at Ashford University, through online courses. I learn a lot as the mother of four sons. Children have so much to teach, they just don't always know it. They are a true blessing. Right now, as I write this, my boys are 11, 8, 7, and 4.
My husband of fourteen years, and I, along with our boys, run a small farm. We raise chickens, and vegetables, which we sell from our home and at farmer's markets. That, in itself has been a fantastic learning experience. I knew nothing about raising chickens, or vegetables, for that matter. My husband didn't know much more than I did. We love it, and still feel that there is so much more to know.
My husband and I both come from a family of four children. That makes for great Christmas's and all other gatherings.
I love to write. It gives me an outlet for frustrations, and excitement. In my writing I can explore myself, and share my experiences.
My passion is ...
my family.
I know too much about ...
nothing. There is so much more to learn about everything.
My parents always told me ...
be independent and work hard.
My childhood ambition ...
was to be a teacher. But after a lot of self exploration, I know that is not what I want now.
My favorite memory ...
there isn't just one. My children give me new memories daily.
Why I write ...
I love it. It allows for self expression.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
my children play.
My first job ...
was in retail.
My best moment ...
deciding to finish my college education.
My inspiration ...
is all of my family.
