About me - Jenna Obney

About me

I'm 26 yrs old(the one on the left). I love working with animals, both the 4 legged and 2 legged variety. For the first half of my career I was devoted to our furry friends, and after a bit of a burnout(not every animal can be a success) I switched careers and became a bartender. After several years of being a cheap therapist I changed jobs again and am now employed at the front desk of a major hotel.
All my life I have enjoyed doing new things and being challenged. Now I'm going to take a turn at writing. My whole life people have told me I should do something with it, but I've always been too scared.
I live in New England and share a home with my brother, my best friend, 2 cats and 4 fish.

When finding a stray cat there are a multitude of options as to what to do. First of all, do not touch it. You can never be sure if it is friendly, or possibly diseased. Your local shelter or veterinarian should have a 'havahart' trap. These are easy to set up and allow you to capture the stray without endangering yourself or hurting the animal. While you are on the phone to the vets, shelters, or humane societies, you should ask them if they know of anyone who has lost a cat matching the description.
