Someone wrote or sang, "Memories of the way it use to be..." I miss the way it use to be yet I do not want to go back to experience the heartache again. My grandmother was my best friend. We laughed, talked, and cried together. She raised me and I am so appreciative of her sacrificing her golden years to rear her grandchildren. She meant so much to me. A woman of great faith and strength. I learned to be hard working, perservering, respectful, and a lady because of her. I thank God for her being my guardian because she is so much of who I am today.
