The same equipment found on the U.S.S. Pueblo and the U.S.S. Liberty was a friend to me, and well known. I had the pleasure of being an E.W.(Electronic Warfare Tech) in the U.S. Navy. I was trained to investigate each and every signal I received as either valid or invalid, which required active searching to distinguish: the source of the signal, the level of threat and the action needed to ensure my vessel's safety. I used passive and active systems... and even used equipment to deceive the enemy, ecm and eccm (electronic counter measures and electronic counter-counter measures). You might say 'the military taught me how to think' and by doing that they did me a favor. I joined in '74' on the delayed entry program and went active duty in'75.' My favorite memory ...
"... Justice is as blind as the people who rely on it."
Why I write ...
"... the itch won't go away!"
My best moment ...
... realizing 'Wide is the bridge to narrow-mindedness' and 'Narrow is the gate on High.'
My inspiration ...
"... comes by fingertip, a pointed finger and the slapping hand of reality against my face."
"And I stood...1" As I found the strength, I stood, and it really didn't come from outside... I found it came from the inside- from a calm place of need I found, it had nothing to do with company, but the need could not be denied, a compulsion uplifted my soul, my feet moved as if by reflex, I bowed, knelt and accepted Him, my soul renewed, brimming over, full, to feel complete, not empty... still, in a world that drives us forward, in my life I've faced many trials, and in each and every time called, when I felt I could take no more... as I found the strength, I stood. "As I stood...2" As...
