My name is Christina Rivas and I was born on May 8th of 1982 in the Alberta General Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. I was enrolled at Bishop McNally high school, where I graduated in July of 2000. After graduation I obtained a job at Sun West Home Aviation, where I was employeed from May of 200 to June of 2002. I was employed as an aircraft detailer with my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time) as my boss. I was basically the worker behind the scenes, I was the person who made the planes sparkle. After working at Sun West Home Aviation, I became a stay at home girl friend. Three years later I was married to Oliver Rivas. It was shortly after our marriage that I became a stay at home mother of two beautiful daughters. Our oldest daughter is named Kylie Jade, she was born on July 27 of 2005. Our youngest daughter is Cloe Leah, she was born on June 17 of 2006.
One of my greatest passions has always been writing, it was shortly after I gave birth to our daughters, that I decided that I wanted to make a career out of my passion. I enroled at an online educational institution called ICS, where I am currently taking a course to obtain my freelance writer's licence. It is my dream to become a published author, and to stay at home with my family. I am only four months and some hard work away from having the educational part of that dream come true. When I am not busy playing maid, cheif, nurse, mother and student, I write articles on the Helium web site. I enjoy writing and getting feedback on the articles that I write, as I am always looking for experience, and ways to improve my writer's skills. I look forward to the many more articles that I will write, and I sincerly hope that everyone will enjoy reading my articles as much as I enjoy writing them.

When I was younger I used to fantasize about growing up, getting married and having kids of my own so that I could be a stay at home mom. I used to believe that being a stay at home mom was the easiest job in the world, that was until I had gotten married and had two beautiful daughters of my own to raise. Now, I definitely have a new found respect and not just for stay at home mothers. I have to say that I have a lot more respect for mothers in general, any women who is strong enough to give birth is a goddess in my ey...
