And so here I am. 57 years of age, eating too much red meat, drinking too much beer and vodka and smoking too many cigars. I've had a few short stories published and been published every now and then in newspapers as both a stringer and an op ed contributor. I have three children, one of whom is in the Peace Corps in Grenada. My wife of 27 years puts up with far too much. I do not vote for republicans and sometimes not for democrats.
