I am a widow, who loves life and all that it has to offer. I treasure each day that is given to me and cherish time with family and friends. I have two daughters in their twenties who are my best friends and my life.
My dream has always been to write stories, mostly for children and I hope one day to be published. For now I enjoy writing on Helium and expressing my thoughts and ideas for others to read.

Towards Freedom With rifles sounding all around, the little group, towards the border and their freedom fled. Just keep running, don't look back, trust those men in whose hands your lives are held. With rifles sounding all around and freedom just a step away, one young man stopped. And with tear filled eyes he glanced back one last time on his country so dear With rifle sounding all around, the little group, together that last step took. a step to freedom, a step to peace, and a step filled with everlasting hope.
