I have enjoyed writing since a was a child, and still do. These days instead of writing stories for the teacher, I send them to magazines and competition's.
A few years ago one of my love poems won first place in a BBC competition, and was featured on the BBC website. Last year one of my stories won a place in a competition run by Writing Magazine. I was very proud of that as the competitors were writers from around the world, and some of them are professionals.
As well as writing for Helium, I also write occasional blogs on my own web page at MySpace. Another hobby I have is drumming, and I write blogs for the band at the Pentacle Drummers Website.
My main interests are folklore, mythology, alternative healing, and various new age subjects. As well as writing articles on assorted issues, I also greatly enjoy writing fiction.
