About me

I found Helium by chance and have been addicted from the beginning. It's a great source of knowledge. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to write on a wide variety of topics. Since I've been here, the quality of the website has really improved. Many great writers have joined and contribute articles which I really enjoy reading.

I'm a university lecturer in the English Department of a university near Seoul, Korea. My courses include Conversation, Discussion and Composition.

I have an MA in Linguistics and an Honours Diploma in Business Administration/Management Import/Export. I once worked as an export assistant, but quickly learned that this was not for me.

The languages which I know best are English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Besides these, I've also studied Hungarian, Finnish, German, Dutch, Japanese and Korean. If you're wondering about the origin of my last name, it's Hungarian and means "mercenary".

I love writing very much. I have over 100 poems and two children's stories which I hope to publish one day. I've also written articles for newspapers on topics such as travel, culture and education.

My hometown is Vancouver, Canada. I enjoy playing tennis and table tennis. I also enjoy swimming. I'm quite serious about chess. I've even taken part in a few tournaments. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, listening to music, reading, cooking, going to movies, going to restaurants and karaoke.

Henry James is considered one of the greatest American writers and this novel, his final one, is unfortunately not as well-known as it deserves to be. The beauty of Henry James' writing, the vivid descriptions of the characters, the moments of comedy and the exciting plot make this novel a classic.

The theme of the novel is the transfer of art from the ancestral homes of England to the art collections of American millionaires. The structure of the novel resembles that of a play. It has four acts and scenes with people frequently ent...
