I am married and a mother of three grown children with three wonderful grand children as well. I have been writing since in my teen years and have had a few articles appear in magazines and such. I am visually impaired and have a wonderful guide dog Bandana. I write poetry, short stories and articles on many topics of interest to myself.

helping others, and the rewards over the last several months, I have had the opportunity to meet many different people. I am a volunteer at a homeless shelter in a very prosperous city in Canada. The people I meet each day that live in this shelter are here for many reasons. Some of them are here because of addictions, some because of relationship breakdowns, some because of mental health issues some because of poor life choices & some just because there is not enough housing.
