My favorite Lord of the Rings character is King Theoden of Rohan. He was brave, chivalric, strong, and came back from near death to lead his people out of the War of the Ring. I have got to say that although he is introduced in the second part of the trilogy, Theoden has one of the largest impacts on the story among all of the characters. Yes, Aragorn, Gimli, Gandalf, Frodo, and some of those other pesky little hobbits were on the quest to defeat Sauron since the Fellowship of the Ring was formed, but in reality their deeds just can't match those of Theoden, granted the resources that eithe...
